Macular Disease
Macular Disease affects the central retina, impairing sharp vision. Common types include age-related macular degeneration (AMD), macular edema (fluid), macular ischemia (lack of blood flow) and macular drusen . Treatment may be non-existent or involve laser or anti-VEGF injections to slow progression. Our stem cell therapies aims to regenerate damaged retinal cells, improve existing cell function and protect cells from further damage- offering hope for restoring vision.
